Included in the price

• Your choice of horse riding or carriage driving on days 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7
• All horse riding equipment (please bring suitable clothing for riding inc. footwear)
• Breakfast daily
• A picnic lunch or light lunch at the stables on days 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
• A BBQ lunch on day 7
• Dinner with wine at the farmhouse on days 2,3,4,6 and 7
• An evening excursion to Lagos or the nearby villages
• The evening excursion on 1 evening includes transport to Lago or the local villages, you will leave the farmhouse around 6pm and return at approximately 10pm
• Accommodation at the farmhouse in a twin/double room for 7 nights
• You can check in any time after 3pm on day 1 and check-out by noon on day 8
• Prices are based on two sharing, a single supplement applies for those travelling solo who wish to book a private single room
• Note: Shared single bunk rooms are available on request

School overview

Set on the edge of the beautiful Costa Vincentina National Park, 15 minutes north of the cosmopolitan harbour town of Lagos in Portugal, this rural farmhouse retreat runs both horse riding holidays and cookery holidays. The farmhouse stands in 50 acres of rolling hillside with wonderful views over Cape St Vincent, the most southerly point of Europe. Stay in one of the 4 simple rustic rooms in the farmhouse and either enjoy horse riding or cookery for a holiday with a difference.
