Included in the price

• Accommodation at the farmhouse in a twin/double room for 6 nights
• You can check in anytime after 4pm on day 1 and check-out by 10.30am on day 7
• A welcome drink and canapés on arrival after 4pm on day 1
• 4 French cookery lessons
• Cooking lessons take place at 2pm on days 2-5
• (Note: Friday is a free day)
• 4 visits to either a local market or a local producer
• Market or producer visits take place after breakfast on days 2-5
• All transport to and from the markets / producers if you don’t have your own car
• All cooking materials, apron and ingredients
• Continental breakfast each morning
• A light lunch on days 2-6 at the farmhouse
• A 3 course dinner each night with aperitif, wine and water
• Unlimited tea, coffee, biscuits and water throughout the weekend
• A folder containing the recipes of all the dishes you have made
• Prices are based on two sharing, a single supplement applies for those travelling solo
• PLEASE NOTE - From Oct 2012 a transfer from Tonneins train station will be included in the price if needed

School overview

Stay in a restored 19th century farmhouse in the beautiful Lot-et-Garonne (the Garden of France) which is nestled between the sunflower fields and the beautiful pine forests of the Landes de Gascogne just one hour drive south from Bordeaux. Learn to cook traditional French dishes from the region with fun and friendly Marlène, who is passionate about French cooking and welcomes you to her home for a cookery holiday with a difference.
