Unleash the creative within and capture inspirational images of Costa Rica and immerse yourself in the local culture by learning Spanish to accelerate your learning experience.

- Classes start on Mondays and run year round
What Will I Learn?
Digital Photography
- You will visit a number of different, inspiring locations to capture your images
- You will techniques on how to choose your subject and capture the best shot
- During your days in the studio, you will learn how to edit your shots
Spanish Language
- Lessons are highly interactive and you will speak Spanish from day 1 both inside and outside of the classroom
- Focusing on the four main language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, each day will see you increasing in confidence
- You have the option of topping up your group classes with up to 6 hours per week of self-learning in the language learning lab designed to help you learn more Spanish through games, readings, conversation practice, culture and history lessons
Optional Excursions
- There is so much to see and do around the area of Jaco Beach
- You can choose to take a field trip kayaking and snorkelling along the coast and a waterfall hike to the 'Three Pools'
- A variety of marine life can be seen around the reefs including tropical fish, lobster, corals, and much more
- Other optional excursions include visits to the Rainforest or a Crocodile River tour
- You will have plenty of time to kick back on the surf beaches and relax or practice your new found skills
Class Schedule
Your classes take place Monday – Friday each week
Digital Photography
- You will have 10 hours of photography classes each week fitting in around your Spanish classes
Spanish Language
- You will have 2 group lessons per day from Monday to Friday
- Your group class start times change each day to accommodate the best surf times as students may wish to surf during their holiday
- You have the option to join the teacher again later in the day for lessons in the language lab designed to help you learn more Spanish through games, readings, conversation practice, culture and history lessons
Language Level Test
- On your first day, you will take a short level test
- This test will assess your understanding of the language and will help the course organisers to place you in the right group class for your level
Equipment
- Please bring your own digital camera
- Text books are provided for your language class but please bring notebooks and pens
Optional Accommodation
- This school offers a choice of Home Stay staying with a Costa Rican family or Shared House accommodation; you can add this during the booking process
